Hiroaki Nakatani The second Government-Industry Dialogue Meeting on Innovative New Drug Development held in April 2007 agreed to adopt the "Five-year Strategy for the Creation of Innovative Drugs and Medical Devices," in which was described the creation of a cooperative organization and a forum for discussing support measures for venture businesses. Those measures have now been put in place, and the first assembly for each was held in August this year. This article focuses on the government-industry-academia cooperative organization for innovative new drug development. |
